About Camp Chin-gu... Camp Chin-gu is a Korean Cultural Camp dedicated to helping children
adopted from Korea and their siblings explore their Korean heritage. Camp is open to children age three and up through age 13. They
are eligible to participate in the full day program that runs from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM. We offer instruction in Korean cooking,
music, games, calligraphy, arts, history and language. But Camp is much more than just an educational experience. Attending Camp Chin-gu
is a wonderful way for children adopted from Korea to meet each other and form lasting, life long relationships. We have also enjoyed
the participation of people from the local Korean community who have come to teach special classes, perform traditional Korean music
and dances and share a rare collection of royal Korean dress. |
