On June 14th several of our families met for the afternoon at the Seneca Park Zoo. We enjoyed a special presentation about the
Orangutans from Lori Warner who works with the primates there and were able to enjoy spending time together once again. Look
for more "Connections" gatherings in the future.
The picnic day turned out to be a wonderful afternoon. As I sat there with my sister in the morning, we watched the rain turn to drizzle and finally stop around noon. I usually have more company than that on picnic mornings, but I feel that everyone was waiting it out. The sun came out, we found a fairly dry. high spot for the air bounce and the afternoon began. New babies arrived - older kids as well - into their 20's. Cecelia and Marty enjoyed them all.
I enjoyed the kids- watching them grow from year to year - do they really remember me? or is it the guessing game that does it?
